Poe Museum banner

Long time no post. Here's my first project from Projects in Illustration. The asignment was to create an ad of some kind for whatever you chose. I decided to do banners for the Poe Museum here in Richmond. I'm terribly happy with how they turned out.

All done in Ink with some white acrylic, 8.5" x 17" and then diecut extra bits. Lettering was hand done, and is on the originals.

naked trees

My first time doing a landscape in photoshop! I watched a few tutorials, soaked in the info, and took a wack at it. And for my first go, I'm very pleased. The lighting's probably not perfect but I think it has the right mood to it, feeling nice and oppressive. This is a scene study for my game design class.

Still life done in Photoshop during class. Took about two hours to get to this point. That's my crocheted octocat I bought, a PS3 controller, and a bullet shell.
