Master copy of the famous Jacques-Louis David painting Napoleon Crossing the Alps. Completely hand painted in Ps. A friend was kind enough to let me borrow their face. The piece is for a Type and Image project where we had to lay out and design a magazine article. Mine was Ralph for Emperor by Ralph Wanger. The concept was that "Ralph" was super imposing himself upon a famous emperor, cutting his face out from a photo and roughly taping it over a print or what have you that he owned. So yes, the tape is intentional. :P
